Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Optio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company (such as your Teachable School), you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

2. The "Founder" Beta Program

Optio is currently in a "Beta" phase. Users who subscribe under the "Founder" tier acknowledge that:

• The Service may contain bugs or experience downtime.
• Pricing for the "Founder" tier is locked at $29/mo for the lifetime of the account, provided the subscription remains active.
• We reserve the right to limit the number of "Founder" seats available.

3. API Usage & Data Security

Optio functions by connecting to your Teachable School via API. You agree to:

• Provide a valid, read-only (or required scope) API Key.
• Allow Optio to cache non-sensitive student data for performance.
• Revoke API access immediately if you suspect a security breach.

Liability Limitation: Optio is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or business interruption caused by Teachable API outages or changes in the Teachable platform.

4. Subscription & Refunds

Free Trial: You are entitled to a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Refunds: Since we offer a free trial, refunds for paid months are generally not provided, except where required by law or in cases of significant service failure.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optio and Purple Hippo Web Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
